Have I fallen out of love with shoegaze?

Everytime I put an album on I feel annoyed or impatient and end up skipping a lot of songs...It has been 17 years since I got my first album (Lush-Gala), have I changed this much? Has this happened to anyone else? Of course it has. It seems as though everyone in my family starts listenin to country music when they hit 35, please don't let that be me.
